Two miles North East of Winchester is Kings Worthy, a largely farming community until the early 20th century, which has now grown to a population of just over 6000. The village is a mix of very old and newer housing and is well served by local amenities including a primary school, two fantastic pubs, shops and businesses. There is a real community feel to the village, which also hosts its own annual music festival.
